Mir Mosharraf Hossain is the great Muslims poet of Bangladesh.

On November 13, 1847, the birthplace of Lahini Para Mir Mosharraf Hossain was born of Kushtia district .His father Mir Moazzem Hossain was the owner of a lot of wealth.Mir Mosharraf Hossain spent most of his life working in Faridpur Nawab Estate and Delduar Estate.Then he stayed in Calcutta and later on Padmadi for many days.In his student life he published his composition in ’Sangbad Prabhakar’.He is well-known as the pioneer of the coordinator of modern Bengali literature.His notable works include-
Draama  : Bosonto Kumari(Spring virgin),
                 Zamindar Darpan(zamindar mirror).
