Present perfect tense /প্রেজেন্ট পারফেক্ট টেনস

                                              

Present Perfect Tense 

যে Tense দ্বারা কোন কাজ এইমাত্র শেষ হয়েছে কিন্তু তার ফল এখনো বর্তমান এরুপ অর্থ প্রকাশ করে  তাকে Present perfect tense বলে ।

বাংলায় চেনার উপায় ঃ বাংলা ক্রিয়ার শেষে য়াছ,য়াছি,য়াছে ,য়েছ ,য়েছি,য়েছে,য়েছেন এদের কোন একটি যোগ থাকে ।যেমনঃ

আমি ভাত খেয়েছি= I have eaten rice.

সে স্কুলে গিয়েছে =He has gone to school.

গঠন প্রণালীঃ Sub+have/has+মূল verb এর  past participle +Extension.

     Note: He ,She, it ও অন্য সব  Singular Number যুক্ত  Third person                     এর পরে has বসে । I,We,you ,they, ও plural subject এর পরে                    have বসে ।

Present Perfect Tense যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Interrogative  করার নিয়ম ঃ

Have /has+Sub+ বাকী অংশ + প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন।

Affirmative                                        Interrogative

I have done the work .                     Have I done the work?

Affirmative

We have done the work.

He has done the work.

You have done the work.

Negative :

We have not done the work.

He has not done the work.

You have not done the work.

Interrogative:

Have we done the work?

Has he done the work?

Have  you done the work?

Present Perfect Tense যুক্ত Affirmative Sentence কে Negative Interrogative  করার নিয়ম ঃ

1)Have /has+Sub+not +বাকী অংশ +প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন।

2)Haven't/hasn't+Sub+বাকী অংশ + প্রশ্নবোধক চিহ্ন (Contracted form)

Affirmative : I have done the work .

Negative Interrogative: Have I not done the work?

Or , Haven't I done the work ?

Present perfect tense এর ব্যবহার ঃ(Right form of verb)

১.অতীত ঘটনার ফল এখনও বর্তমান রয়েছে বুঝাতে ঃ

Moulana Bhashani has done a lot for our country.

২.অতীতে অনেক সময় ধরে কোন কাজ হয়েছে এবং এখনও সময়ের সমাপ্তি হয়নি এরুপ অর্থ প্রকাশ করতে ঃ

The have lived in London for ten years.

৩.কোন Sentence এ just, just now ,already, yet, never, ever, lately, recently ইত্যাদি Adverb এবং so far ,up to now, up to the present  ইত্যাদি  Adverbial phrase থাকলে Present Perfect Tense হয় ।

I have already written the letter.

Have you ever been to Cox's Bazar?

৪.Afer , when, before, পূর্বে থাকলে  Future Perfect Tense প্রকাশ করতে  Present Perfect Tense ব্যবহ্নত হয়।

Go to bed when/after you have done your home work.

৫.অতীতে কোন কার্য সংঘটিত হয়েছে এবং তা বর্তমানে ঘটতে পারে এমন বুঝাতে ঃ

I have seen wolves in that forest.

৬। Incomplete period বুঝাতে (today, this morning, this afternoon ,this evening, this week, this month, this year, this century ইত্যাদি ):

Tom has rung me three times this morning.

এখানে morning বলতে দুপুর ১ টার পূর্ব পর্যন্ত বুঝায় । যদি সময়টি ১ টার পর বুঝায় তখন তা Complete Period বুঝায় এবং তা Past Indefinite Tense হয়।

৭.অভ্যাসগত কর্ম (habitual actions) বুঝাতে :

The have always answered my letter.

৮. Ever- এর পরিবর্তে the first ,the second এবং the only ব্যবহার করা যায় ।

This is the first time I have seen a lion.

৯.অতীতে সংঘটিত হয়ে কোন কাজ বর্তমানে চলে -এরুপ বুঝাতে ঃ

He has been in London for three years.
