                                                       An obstacle on the way to Makkah

                                                                     

There was an old woman in Makkah.She used to set thorns on the way of Hazrat Mohammad (Sm.).Everyday at down when he went to Kaba,the holy temple built by Ibrahim (A.),he got hurt by the thorns and the woman laughed from a little distance.However,it was a continuous happening.But one day Hazrat Mohammad (Sm.) found no thorns on his way to Kaba.Mohammad (Sm.) became surprised.Thinking sometime,he searched for  the woman and went to her house.He (Sm.) asked the old woman why she had not set thorns on the way.She replied that she was ill.Mohammad (Sm.) arranged everything for her treatment.The old woman became pleased and decided to gave up her ill motive.



                                                          The honest woodcutter

                                                                           

Once there lived a poor woodcutter.He was very honest and used to earn his livelihood by cutting wood and selling them in the market.One day while cutting wood by a river,his axe slipped and fell into the river.He sat motionless and began to cry.He was very poor and he had not the money to buy another axe.He was thinking what to do.He was very depressed and blaming his lot.Suddenly, he heard a voice and saw a fairy before him.The fairy asked him why he was crying.He told her everything.The fairy took pity on him.She went into the river and came back with a golden axe.She asked the woodcutter if it was his axe.The woodcutter replied in the negative.She then again went into the water and returned with a silver one.This time also the woodcutter refused to take it.Finally,she brought the axe of the woodcutter from the water.The woodcutter was delighted to get back his iron axe.The fairy became very pleased with the woodcutter at his honesty and gave him the two valuable axes as reward.Honesty is thus always rewarded.



                                                                 Solomon's wisdom

                                                                             

King Solomon was the wisest man of his time.His fame spread far and wide.Once the queen of Sheba came to test his wisdom.She brought two garlands of roses and asked the king to take the natural one from them.Solomon thought for sometime.It was very difficult to identify the real rose.Just then he saw some bees humming outside the window.|King Solomon told his men to open the window.Then the bees came in and sat on the garland of real flowers.The king then pointed to that garland.The Queen of Sheba was greatly charmed at his wisdom.She said,"May God grant you long life".You are really "Solomon the Wise".


                                                                A brave and intelligent boy

                                                                             

Once a school boy named Ahsanullah was going home after completing his class .When he was crossing the road,he saw an old woman lying on the road.She was senseless.Ahsan went to her.He saw she was breathing.He thought she was still alive.He hired a rickshaw.He took her on the rickshaw with the help of the rickshaw puller .Ahsan told him to go to the hospital.But there was no hospital nearby.But there was a health-care-clinic.However,the wounded old woman was taken there.There were good doctors and well-trained nurses.They all nursed her very sincerely.After a while she got back her senses.She opened  her eyes and saw Ahsan and could know him.Ahsan knew her well.She was no other than Mamun's mother. Mamun is Ahsan best friend.He cried out loudly by saying Auntie.It was Ahsan who left no stone unturned to save her life from death.How brave and intelligent he is!
